FRAME.
Cast-iron, rigid structure contains all the assemblies.
LIGHT BARRIER. Light beams, if broken, immediately stop downward motion of the
knife for safety.
KNIFE CARRIER. Contains and supports knife.
Indicates distance from knife to backgauge.
DIGITAL MEASUREMENT DISPLAY.
CONTROL PANEL. Contains on/off controls, clamp pressure control, and knife change
control.
Beveled-edge tempered steel blade which performs actual cutting operation.
KNIFE.
Contains backgauge and supports material to be cut.
BED ASSEMBLY.
Controls the clamp.
CLAMP FOOT PEDAL.
Controls the forward and backward motion of the backgauge.
BACKGAUGE CONTROL KNOB.
Contains all components that supply the power required by the
POWER MODULE.
machine.
ELECTRONICS SYSTEM. Controls electronic signals for operation of the machine.
