OPERATION OF AUXILIARY EOUIPMENT. The DDSS requires an external 120V AC three-phase power source
such as that provided by a generator. Refer to the technical manual pertinent to the generator being used for
operating instructions.

PREPARATION FOR MOVEMENT. Striking the DDSS in preparation for movement consists of:
disconnecting power
striking mission equipment
striking boot
loading shelter and trailer
striking the SICPS
loading SICPS onto the trailer
hitching trailer to HMMWV

Disconnecting Power.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when performing checks, services, or maintenance at or near power entrance box
and power distribution box. Failure to do so may result in death or serious injury.
(1)
Turn off all equipment in accordance with each equipment's technical manual.
(2)
Turn off all circuit breakers.
(3)
Turn off Main Switch.
(4)
Disconnect Main Power Cable from power entrance panel.
(5)
Have generator operator disconnect Main Power Cable from generator.
(6)
Wind Main Power Cable on cable reel.
