Turn off appropriate circuit breaker.

Remove screws.
Remove cover plate.
Remove mounting screws.
Pull switch assembly from wire guide to gain access to wires.
Loosen terminal screws; then disconnect wires.
Install new switch.
Reconnect wires.
Guide switch into wire guide, alining holes.
