5-10.4 Replace Paper Disk.

SUPPLIES:
Paper Disk
General Purpose Glue (Item 3, Appendix E)
Alcohol (Item 4, Appendix E)

Loosen thumbscrew on side of encoder housing. Slide encoder housing off
mounting bar.
Turn thumbscrew to move mounting assembly away from paper disk.
Pry up old paper disks with knife and remove.
Remove any remaining glue with alcohol and a brush.
Spread three or four drops of general purpose glue along edge of paper
disk.
Reinstall new disk on planimeter surface. Press down firmly.
Trim excess paper from edges with knife. Remove any excess glue from
edges.
Slide encoder housing onto mounting bar. Tighten thumbscrew.
