(2) Magnetic cards. Store programs and/or data. One magnetic card can store
the contents of 60 program/data registers, 30 per side. A set of 30 registers is
designated as a bank. When one side of a card is recorded, the bank is recorded
with an identifying number of ± 1, 2, 3 or 4. This bank number corresponds to the
bank number in the calculators internal memory. Information is recorded on a card
along the length of edge on both sides. When register bank is recorded, current
partitioning of calculator memory is also recorded.
