(12) Use STRETCH control lever.
Set STRETCH control lever to 1X or 2X and
rotate STRETCH DIRECTION dial to improve fit between map and image.
(13) Repeat match using the following summary:

Each adjustment will change previous adjustments slightly, so matching
steps must be repeated until best compromise fit is obtained.

CAUTION
To protect optical system from dust, dirt, and fingerprints when transfer
scope is not in use, dust cover must be used.
