(3) Set magnification:
NOTE
The following steps should be taken if it is necessary to convert the zoom
transfer scope to the 2X-14X range of magnification.
(a) Remove attachment lens.
(b) Move mirror from outer
(c) Tighten thumbscrews.
mounting holes to inner mounting holes.
(d) Lower glass stage to 2X to 14X index and refocus glass stage.
(e) Set 2X to 14X index plate.
(f) Adjust map lens.
Turn lower knurled ring fully left for 1X. Turn
lower knurled ring fully right for 0.7X.
