ASSEMBLY AND PREPARATION FOR USE (CONT)
1. Turn on air conditioner/heater (l).
Turn on wall heaters (2) if
necessary.
2. Remove floor mat from between jogging table (3) and sink (4), and
place on floor at operator side of Printing Press.
3. Loosen captive screw and open exhaust fan door (5). Remove
retaining ring and push cover handle out. Lock in place. Close exhaust
fan door (5) and secure with captive screw.

Loosen strap for safety waste can (6) on cargo door.
5. Remove rubber strap from waste can (7) and place in desired
location.

Loosen wingnut and remove clamp from telephone receiver (8).
7. Remove securing bar from front of storage cabinet (9). Secure
bar on side of cabinet with thumbscrew.
8. Loosen cast iron knobs on roller storage rack (10) as needed for
access to rollers.
9. Remove six transport handknobs locking GTO storage cabinet (11)
to floor. Store handknobs on side of cabinet.
10. Turn wheel handknobs until GTO storage cabinet frame is one-half
inch off floor.
11. Unstrap magnifier light (12) and position over GTO storage
cabinet (11).
12. Roll GTO storage cabinet (11) against curbside wall at rear of
expanding side.
13. Remove securing bar from front of GTO storage cabinet (11).
Secure bar on side of GTO storage cabinet with thumbscrew.
14.
Plug in magnifier light (12).
15. Remove rubber straps from safety cans (13) and place cans in
desired location.
NOTE
Two people are required to perform the following step.
16. Loosen transport handknobs securing plate register punch (14) to
floor. Store handknobs on plate register punch frame. Move plate register
punch against curbside wall.
