1.4.5.5 REPLACE RECEPTACLE.
TOOLS:
Flat-Tipped Screwdriver
Multimeter
SUPPLIES:
Receptacle
W A R N I N G
DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY MAY OCCUR
CIRCUIT BREAKER IS NOT TURNED OFF
RECEPTACLE.
IF APPROPRIATE
BEFORE WORKING
1.
Turn off appropriate receptacle circuit breaker.
ON
2.
Check receptacle for voltage.
3.
Remove cover plate screw(s).
4.
Remove cover plate.
5.
Remove mounting screws.
6. Withdraw receptacle to gain access to wires.
7.
Loosen terminal screw and ground screw. Then disconnect wires.
