Keep it clean and dry If it gets wet, wipe it off with a clean, dry cloth.
Keep the aiming circle covered when you are not using it.
Keep the optical elements clean and dry. This will prevent etching
of the glass surfaces. Use only lens tissue paper on optical sur-
faces.
Keep the azimuth and elevation scales clean and dry. This will
prevent corrosion of the surfaces.
