Black numbers 0-100 mils - read azimuth.
2 AZIMUTH KNOB
Adjusts elbow telescope in azimuth.
3 AZIMUTH SCALE
Each graduation = 100 mils.
Numbered at 200-mil intervals.
Black numbers 0-6400 mils - read azimuth. This forms the main azimuth scale.
Red numbers 0-3200 mils - read azimuth. The lower row of graduations parallels
the 3200- to 6400-mil upper graduations. This permits the aiming circle to be used
with other instruments having scales graduated 0-3200 mils.
