If statistical problem involves only one variable (x), clear storage
registers R.O through R.5 and Y-register.
Press
q
,~, and @-Tin .
Key number into X-register.
Press n .
NOTE
Unlike storage register arithmetic, the accumulation operation allows over-
flows (i.e., number whose magnitudes are greater than 9.99999999 x 10
99
)
in storage registers R.O through R.5 without indicating Error 1 in the display.
c.
To use any of the accumulations, recall contents of desired storage register
into dispalyed X-register by pressing m ~ followed by the number of the regis-
ter.
If this is done immediately after pressing B or ~- , the accumulation recal-
led is written over the number of data pair entries (n) in the display. To use both
~x and ~y,
press B ~ .
This simultaneously copies ~x from R.1 into
displayed X-register and copies from R.3 into Y-register. If this is done
register is first lifted in o the Z-register.
Otherwise, the numbers in the X- and
Y-registers are first lifted into Z- and T- registers, respectively.
