C h e e s e c l o t h (Item 7, Appendix E)
Salvaged Ventilation Duct
Turn off air conditioner/heater so air will not blow through duct.
a.
Remove joiner plates.
Drill rivets from damaged section of duct.
b.
Remove mounting screws to r e m o v e damaged sections of duct.
c.
S t r a i g h t e n remaining sections of duct at edges using hammer and wood
d.
block.
Place sealant on mounting edges.
e.
Install new duct section cut from salvaged duct. Secure with screws.
f.
Install rivets to secure.
Reinstall joiner plates.
g.
Paint as necessary.
h.
Turn on air conditioner/heater.
