Section I INTRODUCTION
GENERAL INFORMATION.

1-1.1 Scope. This manual contains operating and maintenance instructions for the
A D C - T S S - 1 2 , Analysis Section, Topographic Support System (TSS). The purpose of
the Analysis Section is to provide for the interpretation, evaluation, and update of
Military Geopraphic Information (MGI).
The trailer chassis is covered in TM 5-2330-
3 0 5 - 1 4 , Operator's, Organizational, Direct Support and General Support Maintenance
M a n u a l , Topographic Support System, Chassis, Semitrailer, IS0 Container Transporter.
Repair parts and special tools are listed in TM 5-6675-323-24P, Organizational,

Analysis Section, Topographic Support System.
Lubrication instructions are
contained in LO 5-6675-323-12, Lubrication Order, Analysis Section, Topographic
Support System.
All authorized equipment, supplies, and their locations for trans-
port are shown in Location and Description of Major Components of this manual.
1-1.2 Purpose of Equipment. To provide a transportable facility for the interpre-
tation, evaluation, and update of Military Geographic Information.
