NOTE
When mounted on trailer chassis, perform
the following steps.
Inspect front and rear van body locks to be sure
locks are fully engaged.
Inspect gaskets on personnel doors for leaks or
damage.
Inspect, hinges for proper placement of hinge pins.
Clean and paint blistered, pitted, or flaking
areas and bare metal spots in accordance with
instructions contained in TM 43-0139, Painting
Instructions for Field Use.
Inspect Interior.
1.
Test emergency lights by pressing test button.
2.
Inspect power cords and cables to be sure wires
are not kinked, cut, or cracked.
3.
Inspect plug connectors to be sure all plug
connectors are tight and firmly seated. Tighten
i f n e c e s s a r y .
4.
Inspect for burned out light bulbs and
fluoresce lamps. Replace as required.
5.
I n s p e c t w a l l s , c e i l i n g , a n d f l o o r f o r h o l e s,
open seams, or signs of seepage or leaks.
