MOSAICKING/DRAFTING SECTION
Section I INTRODUCTION
1-1.
GENERAL INFORMATION.
1-1.1 Scope.
This manual contains operating and maintenance instructions for the
ADC-TSS-10, Mosaicking/Drafting Section, Topographic Support System (TSS). The
purpose of the Mosaicking/Drafting Section is to prepare controlled and uncontrolled
photomosaics. The trailer chassis is covered in TM 5-2330-305-14, Operator, Organi-
zational, Direct Support and General Support Maintenance Manual, Topographic Support
System, Chassis, Semitrailer, ISO Container Transporter. Repair parts and special
tools are listed in TM 5-6675-321-24P, Organizational, Direct Support, and General
Support Maintenance Repair Parts and Special Tools List, Mosaicking and Drafting
Section, Topographic Support System. Lubrication instructions are contained in LO
5-6675-321-12, Lubrication Order, Mosaicking/Drafting Section, Topographic Support
System. All authorized equipment, supplies, and their locations for transport are
shown in Location and Description of Major Components of this manual.
1-1.2 Purpose of Equipment.

1-1.3 Maintenance Forms and Records.
Department of the Army forms and procedures
used for equipment maintenance will be those prescribed by DA Pam 738-750, the Army
Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
1-1.4 Reporting Equipment Improvements (EIRs).

Section needs improvement, let us know. Send us an EIR. You, the user, are the
only one who can tell us what you do not like about your equipment. Let us know why
you do not like the design or performance. Put it on an SF 368 (Quality Deficiency

1-1.6 Preparation for Storage or Shipment.

Perform your preparation for movement procedures.

The chapters of this manual describe special shipping instructions for major
components located in the section.

In the event this equipment must be removed from the section for repair or
replacement, contact your battalion for packing and shipping instructions.
