Remove black plastic cap and potentiometer retaining nut.

Tag and desolder wires from defective resistor .
f . R e m o v e i n s u l a t e d s h a f t f r o m d e f e c t i v e r e s i s t o r .

I n s t a l l i n s u l a t e d s h a f t o n n e w r e s i s t o r.
h. Solder wires to new resistor and install in operator’s console.

Reinstall lockwasher, nut and plastic cap.
