AUTOMATIC PLATEN LIFTER (APL) .
Consists of left and right assemblies connec-
ted by shaft that runs through bottom of cabinet. APL is used in multiple-print
operation to automatically lift hood and allow printing material to advance after
each exposure.
Left assembly contains APL motor. Right assembly contains elec-
tronics and operator controls and print counter that allow up to 119 copies to
be made of selected negative.
