Remove pivot screws.

Open cassette assembly.
t.
Compress springs by pushing knife blade against springs. Then pivot
u.
knife upward.
NOTE
Do not lose springs and washers,
Black spring must be placed on right side.
Remove defective movable knife.
v.
Reinstall springs and washers.
w.
Install new movable knife.
x.
Reinstall pivot screws.
y.
Reinstall torsion spring on stud and knife actuator arm.
z.
Reinstall magazine into composing machine.

NOTE
Be sure roll pins are in magazine frame.
Be sure knife arm is behind
flange.
Reconnect shutter solenoid and solenoid connector.

Reinstall two screws inside magazine.
ac.
Reinstall two hex head screws at rear of magazine.
ad.
Reinstall front panel and seven screws.
ae.
Reinstall paper feed knob and tighten setscrews.

NOTE
Check gears for proper gear mesh.
Reinstall cassette mounting bracket with five screws.
