1.1.2.1 EQUIPMENT PURPOSE, CAPABILITIES, AND FEATURES
Purpose
To provide lithographic printing plates in support of the Press Section
and to process color proofs and cartographic support material.
Capabilities and Features
Transportable when mounted on trailer chassis
transportation unit truck/tractor.
Air and sea transportable.
Limited cross-country capability when mounted
Controlled internal environment.
Special Considerations
Site must permit Section
level indicator, be well
concealment.
Dispersal of topographic

Relocation should be accomplished over hard-surfaced, all-weather roads
whenever possible.
