After completing each maintenance procedure, perform operational check to be sure that equipment is
properly functioning.
9-10.1. Inspect Furniture and Cabinets. Inspect furniture and cabinets for structural damage, rust, and proper operation
of all latches, hinges, drawer slides, and adjustment mechanisms.

Inspect the equipment for damage incurred during shipment. If the equipment has been damaged, report the
damage on DD Form 6, Packing Improvement Report.
